SkyCity Mall

Sky City Precinct is located 20 minutes south of Alberton near the major Townships of Thokoza, Katlehong and Vosloorus.

A 13 000sq, 50 store, shopping centre with Shoprite and Cashbuild as anchors, serving 7 500 households and opened April 2019. Future phases to the Mall will bring it to a total of 44 000m2 GLA. A further 10 365m2 is available for Big box retail, food courts and gym. A site has been earmarked for a private hospital.

15 000 future households are currently being developed. The future Sky City resident will have an income between R11 000 and R50 000 and 75% employed in the formal sector. A further 8 000 houses will be developed by Ekurhuleni council & private developers.
The precinct will consist of education, sport, public, retail and industrial nodes near well established transport routes and railway stations.
